Android games and applications that are in the open beta stage can now receive a feature on Google Play. The application store specifically for them launched a selection of Early Access.
Back in May, Google announced this initiative. At the same time, the company launched a collection of 29 pre-selected applications to look at the reaction of users to promote the games still will not reach the official release.
The collection of applications “Early Access” has become a hit, – written in the official developer Android-blog. The first users enthusiastically shared high-quality feedback with the developers. The past month since the launch of collection total downloads of all applications and games that are in early access, reached the mark of 1 million.
Now Google Play offers all developers a place in the “Early Access”. However, not everyone can get into it. Decide on placing the game in the collection will be the editorial office of mobile applications. Now this form must be filled to apply for featuring.
Google will update “Early Access” collection on weekly basis. Google writes about thousands of users who are ready to evaluate and test new original products.
Official Google Play noted in their form that they are looking for “only new applications and games (not updates or existing ones) that try new ideas.”
