Vintage 1930s Hat // Layered Golden Tan Silk Organza + Sky 。This beautiful 1930s small tilt hat is made of tan felt which is twisted in an unusual way at the front, and towards the back it ends in a cap to hold the hat in place. There are two small decorative asymmetrical openings in the back cap. The hat is trimmed with gold colored ostrich feathers and two rhinestone jewels on top. Please see photo. Tilt hats were popular in the 1930s and 1940s. They were worn at an angle and held to the back of the head by a strap, rigid ring, elastic band beneath the hair, or a combination of these. This hat has an elastic to hold it in a tilted position. Label: KANER\'S - designed for...(no owner\'s name) This custom made hat is in wonderful vintage condition and has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Mannequin not for sale.
